Don't be anxious

I hope you're having a great night and enjoying life! I wanted to share a thought on a subject that I personally have and still deal with:

"Anxiety"

Anxiety is something that can take your sleep  away or be as serious as to affect your health. I have suffered from anxiety, panic attacks and let me tell you, it is not pretty. This world and the rush of everyday can cause of us to to be anxious about tomorrow. We worry about our children, our families, our jobs and so much more. Life and its circumstances can take the best of us and we should not allow it. I have come to a conclusion that being anxious will not change my circumstances, it will not change the the things that are out of our control.

I have come to admit that GOD in his awesomeness has left his word to guide us and help us through every situation in our lives including anxiety. We need to trust that He will provide for all our needs, he will give us strength to endure the circumstances that may arise - no matter how hard these times may be. Trust in Him and He will come through! I want to leave you with the below verses from the book of Matthew, Chapter 6: 25 - 34

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?
31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I hope these verses inspire you today!

  1. LOVE this post! I think worry and anxiety are a constant battle for most of us. I appreciate the reminder that we don't have to "allow" it to come into our lives if we choose to trust Gods word instead. Great post. Your newest twitter follower and subscriber 😀.
